Allied Health Professionals (AHP) is a generic term for six different professional bodies:

These professionals play a vital role in optimising the day-to-day quality of life and degree of independence of patients and clients in the Western Trust area.

They work with other AHPs or other professionals such GPs, hospital doctors, teachers, or social workers for example. AHPs often see patients and clients in different surroundings. You will find AHPs working in hospitals, clinics, housing services, people’s homes and schools.
