If you or someone near you has a life-threatening medical or mental health emergency, call 999 immediately or go directly to your nearest Emergency Department
Our Emergency Departments can be very busy places, with long waits depending on the seriousness of your condition. Please remember that those most in need will be seen first.
The Phone First service is for patients, including children, who require urgent treatment but whose illness is not immediately life threatening.
Our Emergency Departments are located at Altnagelvin Hospital and South West Acute Hospital. Our Urgent Care and Treatment Centre is located in Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Complex.
The best place to deal with your urgent but non-critical medical matters, or to discuss any ongoing treatment, is your local GP practice.
Minor ailments can be dealt with quickly and easily by your local community pharmacy.
A regional dashboard is available to give average wait times at each Emergency Department and Urgent Care Treatment Centre.
