Cardio-Respiratory Investigations Unit

Cardiac Investigations and Respiratory Investigations perform a range of diagnostic tests across the Western Trust in Altnagelvin Hospital, Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Complex and South West Acute Hospital.

We are a team of approximately 50 staff, made up of Clinical Physiologists, Systems Managers,  Assistant Technical Officers and Clerical Officers.

We are introducing a new service whereby patients can collect their Cardiac or Respiratory monitor  without having to physically enter the hospital building. This will be on a trial basis.  To support this, we have produced guidance videos for patients, see below.
