Our Service
Across the Western Trust Area there are many treatment rooms located within GP Practices providing various interventions to the patients registered with the GP practice. Western Trust manage 10 of these Treatment Rooms.
Treatments Offered
Treatment Room staff provide treatments to people of all ages on receipt of a referral from GP’s and other Health Professionals in Hospitals and Community. Self-referral is accepted on some occasions. Services available are general health advice, wound care, investigations (blood tests, urine and other samples), injections, ECG’s, Ear Irrigation, Minor Injury Assessments, Assisting GPs with Minor Surgery procedures. Staff within treatment rooms can also refer patients to other services as required.
