  • Western Trust Carers Support Service

    How do Carers Register for the Western Trust mailing list or activities?

    To register, please email Carers.Support1@westerntrust.hscni.net

    Carers not currently registered on the carers mailing list will be asked to complete a consent form for the mailing list that you can download/print here.

    Where Carers provide an email address they will receive weekly updates from the Carers Support team by signing up. Please encourage Carers to register on the mailing list by downloading/printing the form and provide an email address if they have one.

    The Western Trust Carers Support Service provides information on a range of issues faced by carers.  They also run walking groups in Omagh, Derry and Fermanagh.  They can be contacted on 028 7135 5023 or 078 1015 6551

  • Carers NI

    Carers NI operate an information service for carers dealing with a range of issues such as benefits, community care and services for carers.  They provide a wide range of leaflets and booklets and a regular newsletter.  They offer the opportunity to meet with other carers through a network of local groups to share experiences and reduce feelings of isolation.

  • Guidance on how to use technology to keep in touch

    Are you struggling a bit with digital technology? Would you like to find out how to use it to keep in touch with family and friends? If you’re having problems with your tablet, laptop or phone, or would simply like more information Libraries NI can help you.

    They have help sheets on useful apps – for health and exercise, cooking, crafting, playing games and even parking! Libraries NI can help you keep in touch on social media and give you tips on staying safe online.

    If you need any assistance simply phone the Libraries NI digital team on 028 9039 5989 (Monday – Friday 9:15am – 4:45pm) with a brief description of how you need help with digital technology and library staff will phone you within 48 hours with free, helpful advice.
