Adult Learning Disability Services – Accommodation

The Trust provides a range of accommodation solutions for adults with a learning disability – residential, nursing homes, supported living and supports to assist people to live in their family home. The Trust works in partnership with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive and Housing Associations to provide accommodation solutions.

• Ralphs close is a regulated facility offering16 residential beds for long term care and support to adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.
• The facility offers 24 hour support and care based on each individual’s needs and abilities.
• The residents of Ralphs Close play an active part in the running of each bungalow promoting well-being, mentally, physically, socially and emotionally. Residents will also benefit from participation in a range of activities both home and community based through new experiences and learning opportunities.

Mantlin Court is a regulated facility offering 17 residential care places for adults with learning disabilities. The facility provides appropriate quality care and support to individuals with a learning disability who are assessed as requiring this input to enable them to live as independently as possible in their own community.

Creamery House is a registered facility offering 11 residential beds for adults with learning disabilities. The residents of Creamery House are provided with quality care and support in a community environment. The facility also has the capacity to offer respite care to the Fermanagh and Omagh areas

The Shared Lives service provides a number of long term adult placements and short breaks through the provision of a host care service. This service is regulated by Regulation Quality and Improvement Authority. This short break provision provides a meaningful break for the service user and their carers. This type of Short Break is provided in the family home of the Shared Lives Carers. A Short Break can consist of a few hours per day, overnight stays or a longer break.
