Why did you choose to work in the HSC?
The Western Trust Estates Department is a great place to work with opportunities for further development and progression. We have a great team throughout Estates that work hard in the background to ensure our services continue and so that essential care can be provided for our patients.
Describe what you do?
My current role is the assistant head of operations and maintenance. This is an engineering based management role which includes the management of a team of staff covering various disciplines such as building, electrical, mechanical engineering, maintenance and specialist Medical Gas, Ventilation systems throughout the Trust.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
I enjoy being able to make a difference within our team and Trust so that our services can continue.
