Meet our Community Addictions Team who cover the Tyrone and Fermanagh Areas who is led by Team Leader Leone Cox.
The team has two sites based at the Tyrone and Fermanagh Hospital at the Asha Centre and the other is based at the South West Acute Hospital.
Your Recovery Journey will begin by being referred into our service through GPs, other Mental Health Teams, Social Services, Probation, Prison, and our colleagues in Tier 2.
Our Community Addiction Service provides a range of therapeutic interventions designed to support individuals struggling with substance (Alcohol and/or Drugs) use. Our service adopts a holistic and person centred approach, offering various treatment modalities to address the complex needs of clients and their families. Key offerings include therapeutic interventions, detox, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, family support group (offered 3 times yearly – this can also be offered individually), Psychology, Pharmacology and Opioid Substitution Therapy. Our committed Team consists of different disciplines namely – Highly Specialised Mental Health Nurses and Social Workers as well as Psychologists, medical staff and our Consultant Psychiatrists.
These services provide a holistic framework for recovery, fostering resilience, and promoting long term well-being and positive mental health.
