Vanessa Campbell, Senior Day Care Worker, Adult Mental Health and Disability Services explained:
“The Rossville Group, Day Opportunities for Adults with Learning Disabilities have been busy working on creating amazing plastic bottle Christmas trees to highlight the issue of plastic waste, especially noticeable at Christmas time.
“The project was organised by Eden Place Arts Centre with Pilot’s Row Youth Club and St Columb’s Park House Youth Changemakers also taken part in this project. The tree is currently on display at Tesco, Quayside Shopping Centre for shoppers to view over the Christmas period.”
