The Emergency Department at Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry/Londonderry is one of Northern Ireland’s busiest, looking after the most critically ill and major trauma patients from across the west of the region.
The Emergency Department at Altnagelvin is located to the rear of the main building, and is clearly signposted throughout the site.

South West Acute Hospital
The Emergency Department at Enniskillen’s South West Acute Hospital looks after the most critically ill and major trauma patients from across a large geographical area in the south-west of the region.
The Emergency Department at South West Acute Hospital is located to the right hand side of the main building, and is signposted from the entrance.

Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Complex
The Urgent Care and Treatment Centre (UCTC) at the Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Complex is a Nurse-led Minor Injuries Unit which is operational 24 hours a day and is fully supported by 24/7 x-ray facility.
The team consists of Emergency Nurse Practitioners who will see, treat and discharge the full range of presenting minor injuries.
The staff receive telephone advice from Emergency Department Consultants in both the South West Acute and Altnagelvin Hospitals and use tele-medicine to assist with diagnosis.
