The very best of luck to our nurses (and Health Visitor) shortlisted for an RCN Nurse of the Year Awards. The below staff will represent the Trust on Thursday evening (5th June) at the annual awards ceremony, held at the Culloden Hotel.
- Clinical nurse specialists for Lung Cancer, Karen Harper and Helen McCormick are shortlisted in the Cancer Nurse Award category.
- Jonah Atos, International Nurse Coordinator, is shortlisted for the Directors of Nursing Award
- Linda Britton, Senior Nursing Assistant at the North West Cancer Centre, is shortlisted in the Health Care Support Worker category.
- Jacqui Lundy, Community Children’s Nurse, is shortlisted for a Patient’s Choice Award
- Ashley Ferguson, Health Visitor, has been shortlisted for a Public Health Award.
The RCN Northern Ireland Nurse of the Year Awards provide an opportunity to highlight excellence within nursing in Northern Ireland and the contribution that nurses make to the health and wellbeing of the people of Northern Ireland
