Bereavement Suite Donation

Our Maternity Services at the South West Acute Hospital gratefully acknowledges a poignant donation to the Bereavement Suite Project at the South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen today.

Lead Midwife Brenda McCabe had the privilege of being presented with funds to be donated towards the Bereavement Suite Project, South West Acute Hospital.

Brenda explained: “Mairead and Gareth Phair from Fivemiletown, Co Tyrone delivered their beautiful baby boy Oisin, at the South West Acute Hospital on 06 February 2020 and presented a donation today to mark what have been his third birthday.

“Mairead, Gareth and their family wished to commemorate Oisin’s 3rd birthday by donating the £2128.94 they fundraised in memory of their much loved son and to help other families who will have use of the new Bereavement Suite located in the Maternity Ward at the Hospital.

Expressing her deepest gratitude to the Phair family Brenda said: “Oisin’s legacy will forever remain with his family and loved ones and also the whole community, in the development of the dedicated Bereavement Suite. On behalf of the Maternity staff in the hospital I wish to say thank you for this poignant donation.”
