We are delighted to officially open the new Roe Leap premises situated at the Limavady Community Development Initiative (LCDI) building in Limavady this week.
Benbradagh Day Centre received funding for the day opportunities facility provide an additional recreational and an activity area for adults with a learning disability who attend the day centre.
Maire Boyle, Community Services Manager for Adult Learning and Disability Services said: “We are delighted to welcome service users, families and staff today to a special tea party to mark the official opening of our new facility at LCDI (Benbradagh Day Centre’s Satellite unit). This wonderful space will enhance many aspects of the lives of our service users through health promotion and social integration and improve their overall health and wellbeing.”
Vanessa Carlin, Day Centre Manager said: “This is an exciting new development for our service and for all the service users involved within the Roe Leap group. This new facility will provide an array of person centred activities which will enable service users to engage in learning new skills, develop relationships, promote social inclusion and maintain healthy life choices.”
