Staff at Lakeview Hospital, Gransha Park in Derry/Londonderry held a very different event for clients last week with a social distancing sports/fun day to celebrate Learning Disability Week (15 June to 21 June 2020)!
Lorraine Clarke, Lead Nurse for Adult Mental Health and Disability Services said: “Staff and clients enjoyed a wonderful day full of fun and laughter with outdoor activities including a space hopper race, bouncy castle, music and BBQ.
“Thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a wonderful and memorable occasion and for staff at Cedar Villa who gave us access to their garden.”
