Our mobile Breast Screening unit has returned to a different location in Enniskillen whilst planned renovation works are due to be undertaken at the Lakeland Forum. Screening commences on 24 February 2025 at the old Erne family Centre, Coleshill, accessed from the Elliot’s Place entrance. This will also be the first visit to Enniskillen for the recently purchased replacement Western Trust Breast Screening Mobile.
This unit will remain at the Coleshill Site until the end of June 2025 and all women aged 50 to 70 registered with a GP in the following practices will be invited automatically for screening:
- Devenish Practice
- Lakeside Medical
- Dr Mallon and Mc Conville Practice
Screening is also available, and free, for all women over the age 70 every three years. As women over 70 do not receive their appointment automatically they can ring and request an appointment to attend the mobile at the Coleshill location by contacting the screening centre on 028 71611443.
Alternatively they can request an appointment by sending an email to altnagelvin.breastscreening@westerntrust.hscni.net or downloading the Connect West app and using the over 70 chat function.

It is important to attend when invited for breast screening as it can assist early detection of breast changes which may be a cancer. Early detection can save lives.
