We are searching for volunteers to help at our Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service at Altnagelvin Hospital, Derry/Londonderry; South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen and Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Complex.
The Western Trust Macmillan Information and Support Service provides individuals affected by cancer, with local access to cancer/health information, emotional support and onward signposting to a range of different partner services.
Martha Magee, Western Trust Macmillan Information and Support Manager said:
“We are looking for people who can spare a few hours each week to volunteer for this important service in the local community. If you are enthusiastic, enjoy helping others and have good listening skills, then this may be the role for you! Volunteers will meet and greet visitors, provide information and onward signposting to local support services. Support and training will be provided to all new volunteers.”
