This edition’s In Focus feature: How Care Opinion has benefited Radiology

This edition’s featured service is Radiology. Aisling Howell, QSI Lead Radiographer for Radiology within the Western Trust takes us through how Care Opinion has benefited their staff and patients.

When Care Opinion was first introduced to the Trust the Radiology service at Altnagelvin was part of the pilot but now all sites across all of the Trust are involved.

Radiology now have responders trained so that they can respond and acknowledge all feedback in a timely way, helping give feedback to the staff to learn and improve.

To date patients have said they are grateful and thankful for the care they have received. Suggestions have also been made about how things can be done differently.

As a result, Radiology now have better ways of communicating and have made some changes to facilities to improve patient access.
