Our Community Respiratory Team based at Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Complex are celebrating their success at the Families First NI Healthcare Awards 2023 held recently at the Titanic, Belfast.
“The Omagh Community Respiratory Team were absolutely delighted to be nominated for NI Families First Healthcare Awards and to receive highly commended in the Healthcare Heroes category. We had a fabulous night and made memories that will last a lifetime. Many thanks to all who voted and took time out of their busy lives to do so and wish us good luck messages on social media. The Community Respiratory Team are a team of nurses in the Western Trust working in Omagh, Strabane and the surrounding areas caring for chronic respiratory patients and their families in the community. They have advanced clinical skills to deliver prompt assessment, treatment and support to patients in their own homes, liaising with the multi-disciplinary team as needed. The team also provides a home oxygen assessment service, oxygen clinics and deliver pulmonary rehabilitation programmes in the community.
