Our Children and Young People’s Autism Service launched their ‘Design our new logo’ competition in February 2024. Autistic children and young people aged under 18 years living in the Western Trust area were invited to help design the service’s new logo using the theme “What does Autism mean to you?” in conjunction with the launch of their new online Hub during World Autism Acceptance Week 2024 (2-8 April).
Speaking about the Design our new logo competition Margaret Ferris Autism Coordinator and Service Improvement Manager at the Western Trust said:
“We were delighted with the response in the Design our new logo competition and the creative and talented designs from our children and young people across the Western Trust area. It was a very difficult task for our panel to choose a winner in each of the age categories. Well done to everyone who entered and congratulations to the winners in particular overall winner Ben Flanagan. We look forward to incorporating Ben’s winning design in our resource hub over the coming months.”
“We listened to what matters to families engaged in our autism services and over the last number of months we have been working hard behind the scenes to develop this fantastic resource for everyone. I wish to say a huge thank you to all the families who have contributed in the development of this important resource hub.”
