Lots of smiles, friendship and laughter in the beautiful sunshine during our Carers Walk and Picnic events this week as part of Walk for Health Month.
Geraldine McLaughlin, Carers Coordinator said:
“It was wonderful to see new faces joining our walking groups in the glorious sunshine this week. We warmly welcome new members to come and join us over the Summer months.”
The Carers Walking Groups are supported by Geraldine McLaughlin and Gabrielle McAloon from the Western Trust’s Carers Support Team. Carers meet up each week for a chat and walk and finish off with a cuppa in the local coffee shop!
- Omagh – every Tuesday – 10.15am – meeting point is agreed by members in advance
- Derry/Londonderry – every Thursday – 11am – the meeting point is agreed by members in advance
- Enniskillen – every Friday – 11.30am – meeting point is agreed by members in advance
