The Western Trust Adult Short Break Cottage located at Shepherds Way, Derry/Londonderry were recently voted to be the winners of a social media competition to win a garden makeover by Dunelm. For the makeover, Dunelm provided lots of solar lights, garden decorations, cushions, a rug, a greenhouse, pots and seeds to plant.
Speaking about the transformation of the Adult Short Break Cottage garden Emma O’Donnell, Centre Manager said:
“We were absolutely thrilled to be the recipients of the Dunelm garden makeover social media competition. The garden here at the Adult Short Break Cottage was in need of some TLC and the Team at Dunelm have certainly transformed this outdoor area. The garden is now a lovely outdoor space for the clients to relax in and is a wonderful place to socialise and for clients to develop new skills in planting and looking after a wide range of plants and flowers. We hope all the clients and staff at the Adult Short Break Cottage will enjoy their new garden and share in the delight of seeing the garden grow and develop in the years ahead! Thank you Dunelm for creating this wonderful new space!”
