The Western Trust is aware of the planned Department for Infrastructure resurfacing works on the A32 Irvinestown Road, Enniskillen, between Cherrymount Roundabout and Hospital Roundabout, scheduled to take place from Monday 20 July to Friday 24 July 2026.
The Trust is working closely with colleagues in the Department for Infrastructure, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, the emergency services and other partner agencies to ensure appropriate contingency arrangements are in place to minimise any disruption to health and social care services in the area.
While the access road on the A32 will be closed to through traffic during the works, the Trust will be implementing measures to ensure continued access for emergency and urgent healthcare services.
We recognise that these works may impact on travel arrangements for patients, visitors and staff and we would encourage everyone to plan their journeys in advance and allow additional travel time where necessary.
Further information on the measures being implemented by the Trust will be made available by Thursday 16 July 2026.
