Congratulations to Neonatal Nurse Joanne Maguire from Irvinestown, Co Fermangh who has been recognised at the Northern Ireland Neonatal Nurses Association Annual Conference held in Belfast on 12th June 2026.
Joanne is a Neonatal Nurse at the South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen and was named winner in the ‘Making a Difference Award’ category for her outstanding contribution to Neonatal nursing at the hospital.
Her nomination said:
“Joanne consistently delivers excellent, informed and compassionate care, she is the most incredible role model for Neonatal nursing in so many ways.”
Nicola Condy, Acting Sister Neonatal Unit at the South West Acute Hospital said:
