What does the service do?
The Community Forensic Mental Health Service specialises in the assessment, treatment, risk management, and rehabilitation of people with complex and chronic mental disorders, which are linked to offending or seriously harmful behaviour, and who are involved with, or at risk of being involved with, the Criminal Justice System.
What staff are involved?
The Community Forensic Mental Health service is trust-wide and consists of a multi-professional team specialising in psychiatry, community psychiatric nursing, clinical psychology, and social work.
How do patients access the service?
Referrals come through our community and inpatient mental health teams.
