Why did you choose to work in the HSC?
I was keen to serve the public and wanted to develop my skills further. I felt that the Trust was a great organization to do this with as there was a lot of opportunity for career progression and upskilling.
Describe what you do?
I am responsible for the design of Minor Capital Work schemes across the Trust. This involves managing projects from a construction and technical point to ensure that our facilities are maintained to better serve our population.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
I really enjoy how diverse my role is. No two days are the same! I meet a lot of colleagues, partners, patients and clients and it is rewarding to see how positively my work impacts staff, patients and clients. The HSC is a great place to work.
